Terms of use

Draft — under review by our counsel.
What Flow is
Flow is a web studio made by InnerLabs. You sign in, add credits to a wallet, and generate images and video with AI models we rent from fal.ai and run on our own account.
These terms are the agreement between you and InnerLabs. They cover Flow only — nothing here touches Thoughts, our other product, which has its own terms and its own data.
Using Flow means you accept these terms. If you do not, the honest answer is not to use it; write to us instead.
You must be 18 or older
Flow is for adults. You need to be at least 18 years old to have an account, and we ask you to confirm that once, in writing, before your first render.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we close it and delete what it holds.
Flow is invite-only right now
Accounts are created from an invitation list. If your email address is not on it, sign-in will refuse and no account is made. That is deliberate: we would rather know the first few hundred people using this.
An invitation is for you. Do not share your sign-in, and do not resell access to Flow or route someone else's traffic through your account.
What you may not make
No sexual content involving minors. Not drawn, not generated, not stylised, not "it is only AI". There is no framing of this we accept, we report what the law requires us to report, and the account is closed the moment we find it.
No sexual or intimate imagery of a real, identifiable person who has not agreed to it. This includes public figures. It includes faces you upload as a reference.
No content made to pass as a real person saying or doing something they did not — for fraud, for a scam, for an election, or to harass someone. Satire and parody that a reasonable person can read as such are fine.
No content that incites violence or promotes terrorism, no material that is illegal in India, and nothing that breaks another person's copyright or trademark.
Do not attack the service: no attempts to break our limits, our wallet, or our vendors' limits through us; no automated scraping of the studio; no reselling our model access as your own API.
What comes out is AI-generated
Everything Flow makes is generated by a machine. It can be wrong, it can be strange, and it can resemble something that already exists. We label what you download as AI-generated, because Indian law asks us to and because it is true.
Do not remove that label to pass a render off as a photograph or as someone's work. If you publish a render, the fact that it was generated travels with it.
As between you and us, what you make is yours to use, subject to the model vendors' own terms for the model you chose. We do not claim ownership of your prompts or your renders. What we cannot do is promise that an output is original, or that it is free of someone else's rights — no one running these models honestly can.
You are responsible for what you make with Flow and for where you put it.
Credits, prices and payment
You pay by adding credits to a wallet and spending them on renders. The price of a render is shown exactly on the Generate button before you press it, and that is the number taken from your wallet. How a price is formed is written out on the Pricing page.
The wallet is closed: credits buy renders inside Flow, they cannot be withdrawn as cash, and they cannot be transferred to another person or another account. Credits do not expire.
GST is charged once, on the top-up, and a tax invoice is issued for each one. Refunds and credit notes are described on the Refunds page.
When we remove something, or close an account
We can remove content and close an account. In practice that happens for one of the reasons written above, or because we are required to by law or by a court.
If we close your account, we tell you why. Unspent credits come back to you as described on the Refunds page — except where the account was closed for the things under "What you may not make", where they do not.
You can close your account whenever you like by writing to hello@innerlabs.ai.
What we do not promise
Flow is a small product run by a small company. Models go down, vendors change their prices overnight, and a render can fail for reasons neither of us can see. We do not promise that Flow will always be available, that any particular model will stay available, or that a render will be what you imagined.
When a render fails, the credits go back to your wallet. That is the remedy we can actually deliver, and it is automatic.
Beyond that: if something goes wrong and it is our fault, what we owe you is limited to what you have spent with us in the three months before it happened. We are not liable for indirect losses — lost profit, lost work, a campaign that missed its date.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Changes to these terms
We will change this page as the product grows. When a change alters what you agreed to, we bump the version and ask you to accept it again the next time you sign in. Small corrections — a typo, a clearer sentence — do not.
The date at the top of this page is when it last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of TBD — city and state whose courts hear a dispute have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Write to us before you write to a court. hello@innerlabs.ai reaches a person.
